Imported objects are converted into Rhino objects and enriched with IFC data. Using the BEAM panel, you can view and explore the data imported from the IFC file, organized according to the converted data types. For example, lengths in the IFC document will be mapped to BEAM's length data type.
IFC Classes and BEAM Categories IFC classes are automatically converted to BEAM categories, while the original IFC data remains accessible in the lower section of the BEAM panel.
Geometry and Parameters Geometry, along with both instance and type parameters, is imported, including levels and materials. These parameters are organized into property sets within the BEAM panel, reflecting the structure of the original IFC file.
Property Sets The BEAM panel groups instance and type parameters into property sets, ensuring clear organization and easy access for managing the imported data.
Elements from the worksession file will display "Worksession" at the top right corner of the BEAM panel.
